DESCRIPTION

KÖSTER Bitumen Primer is a cold applied, low odor, solventcontaining bitumen primer. It contains a bonding agent admixture and displays excellent penetration properties. It acts as a dust-binder and as a bonding agent for subsequent hot or cold applied liquid bitumen coatings and self-adhesive membranes.

AREAS OF APPLICATION

Suited for all absorbent mineral surfaces, sheet metal, wood, and bituminous roofing felt. It is suited as a primer for bitumen thick film sealants and cold applied self-adhesive bitumen membranes, as well as for over-coating old layers of bitumen (refurbishment of old thick film sealants and bitumen coatings)
